2025-2026 Presidents Message
We kicked off the meeting by recognizing Lucy, York Middle School’s Student of the Month! Her teacher, Mr. Daniels, shared that although she’s a relatively new student, she has already made a positive impact as a leader in the classroom. Lucy embodies the school’s core values of responsibility, perseverance, and respect—a true role model! In her honor, York Rotary is donating $100 to her chosen nonprofit, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. 
Next, we were privileged to hear from our guest speaker, Angela Whitten, co-founder of Stay; For Life. This incredible nonprofit is dedicated to advocating for men’s mental health and suicide prevention—a mission that is saving lives every day. Before wrapping up, Darcy unveiled our club’s new banner featuring next year’s presidential message—"Unite for Good". thank you, Darcy!
