Community, Connection, and Cause: A Big Day at York Rotary
The York Rotary Club meeting on June 13, 2025, was filled with excitement, gratitude, and community spirit — a true reflection of our mission to serve.
We kicked off the morning by proudly presenting our 2025 Sharing is Caring Grant to CoastX, an inspiring local nonprofit dedicated to making a lasting impact. CoastX was awarded a $5,000 grant in support of their mission, and representatives shared their passion and gratitude with the club. “We are incredibly grateful for this generous support and the opportunity to share our mission,” CoastX shared. “Your belief in our vision helps us grow and reach even more people.” Learn more about their work at coastx.org.
Following the grant presentation, we headed outside for a special and uplifting demonstration by Seacoast Wheelers, represented by Jim White and Lisa Moulton. This local organization provides joyful, inclusive bike rides for seniors and those with mobility challenges — and today, several Rotarians experienced the ride firsthand in their specially designed trike. Smiles were everywhere!
A big thank you to both CoastX and Seacoast Wheelers for joining us and sharing the incredible work you’re doing in our community. To learn more about Seacoast Wheelers, visit seacoastwheelers.org.
