Today's speaker was Chris Babbidge, a State Representative from Kennebunk. Chris is a member of the state judiciary committee but was here today to tell us about the upcoming state bicentennial celebration. This is a months long celebration of our cordial separation from Massachusetts on March 15th, 1820. There are literally dozens of events planned and town's can apply for grants to offset any commemorative events. I've attached the handout with all of the information for your reading pleasure.
