Our own Paul Salacain went to the Eben Ezer School in Milot, Haiti to assist with the planning of a water project. The York Rotary club had previously donated a generator to the school so that they could have a reliable source of electricity.

On Friday March 15th, he gave the club a presentation about his trip. While there, in addidtion to the planning related to the water project, he assisted with painting, architectural planning, and a lighting project involving 2-liter plastic bottles. He also witnessed a demonstration of a vocational project using the cassava plant to provide both food and raw materials which can be turned into charcoal briquettes.
