This mornings speaker was a gentleman named Trevor Dodge, Program Coordinator for End 68 Hours of Hunger in York Maine. End 68 Hours of Hunger, (pre COVID) provides backpacks of food on Fridays to children in our community who may experience weekend food insecurity.   Due to COVID they are currently providing $10.00 Hannaford Gift Cards to those recipients.  Mr. Dodge explained that there are consistently 25 backpacks or gift cards distributed  a week for children in our community who may experience food insecurity during the weekend.  Their hope is to go back to backpack distribution sometime in April 2021.
