Club Anniversary:  Greg Villa

Happy Dollars:  Mary Andrews told a great joke; Ray Bald’s birthday card from his sister was signed by Tiger Woods; Andy Binger is communicating with Tom Spencer and his one plea is “Send Baked Goods!”…otherwise Tom is doing very well.  Andy will send the baked goods next week; Don McElwain had 5 great days in Bermuda - Eric was happy that Paige and Evan’s parents were back; Don Sweet stated that the Academic Boosters Club had an award banquet; Jim Hager is sailing to Bermuda this weekend;  Doug Gray and Paul Saltzman are bringing the students shopping tomorrow;  Steve Brett is happy that he bought his power ball ticket but sad that his plumbers don’t show up;  Tony Mont’s 40th wedding anniversary is this weekend;  Fred Muehl is happy that Mary helped fight the state policy which was going to have a negative effect on the Marine industry;  Annette Fazio won second out of the area for her speech at Toast Masters.

Raffle- #929, Mary Andrews

Greeter next week:  Nelson Giordano.

Guest speaker- GSE team.

Stacie- 13 applicants for RILA, sent out 10.

Speaker-  Dr. Henry Scipione, lives in York, has 2 children, and has lived here since 2000.  His purpose today is to provide information so that we can make an informed decision when we vote on May 22, 2004.  We are voting this year on phase II of a 3 year recovery plan.  In 2002 the schools lost 26.5 positions.  May 2003’s vote restored 11.6 of the 26.5 positions.  Recovery positions are NOT new positions.  Rather, the 3 year plan is an attempt to restore staffing levels to those of 2002.  However you vote, please vote!

Meeting adjourned.
