Happy Dollars:  Marco is heading to Florida;  Ray Bald is happy that tax season is over;  John Rainone was happy that Jud Knox received the United Way’s Award for Service; Sudie announced that it was her 31st anniversary;  Jim Hager is happy about his granddaughter’s 5th birthday;  Doug Gray is happy that he will be going to Vietnam on a Rotoplast mission in November;  Ryan is sad that the Red Sox lost and the Canadiens beat the Bruins;  Ed Kimball is happy about his new sewer.

 

Raffle:  Paul Salacain.

 

Treasurer’s report:  net $5,500 in the Spa raffle.

 

Pat Murray:  Marty Ulan application - please submit names.  Also 2 more members are needed to form the award committee - two people volunteered.

 

Rotary Scholarships:   applications are coming in; deadline is 5/3/04.

 

John Rainone volunteered to handle all of the paperwork for people considering Paul Harris level.

 

Changing of the guard—to be the last Thursday in June, currently looking at locations.

 

Spa raffle – Won by Dr. Louis Clarizio.  Will only take $4,000 instead of the $5,000 that he won!  Giving $1,000 back to Rotary!

 

Spring Dance—tickets still available; table reservations being accepted; 15 piece swing band for the dinner/dance at the Portsmouth Sheraton on 4/24/04.

 

Fred Muehl - forming a croquet league; 1st meeting will be 4/27/04 at Remax.

 

International — incoming student arriving from India.

 

Coast Guard Cutter Reliance – working on supporting this ship.

 

Greeters next week — Andy Binger and Sudie Blanchard.

 

Ray DeFeo – the concession stand on Bog Road;  John DeStefano is putting together drawing to get the town’s approval.

 

York County Community College (YCCC) - Rotary assembly next Wednesday, 4/21/04.  If you would like to join Doug Gray, please let him know.

 

Guest speaker - John Wertz - owner of Optimum Fitness in York.

 

Andy Binger announced that Tom Spencer is doing okay!!!  His family is doing well.  They just got back from Disney World!
