Happy Dollars:
- Mary Andrews speaking for Ann MacAuly encouraged people to go to the Republican caucus;
- Steve Jendzejec survived the polar dip last Saturday---$1,400 was raised;
- Russ Peterson was happy to see Elias Thomas;
- Annette Fazio’s son is doing well in sales and her daughter just got a job in Manhattan!;
- Fred Muehl is interested in starting a summer croquet league;
- Steve Pelletier’s son Scott is heading to the Rugby Nationals in Memphis;
- Anna Kristina Sawtelle has been in Washington D.C.—in D.C. one now hears war planes flying overhead. Washington has changed a lot since September 11th. A new Rotary Club was inaugurated. Anna Kristina’s daughter who works in the Congo was very, very ill since Jan 14th. She was flown to South Africa and underwent back surgery. She is doing much better and is now back in the Congo; Tom Elias is happy that Jim Bartlett is on vacation and he will now try to “attack” Jim’s client base;
- Andy Binger announced that To God Be the Glory starts Thursday at St. Christopher’s.

Past District Governor - Elias Thomas - spoke of his trip to India; led a group of Rotarians back to India to participate in a national immunization day. The group assembled in New Dehli on 2/19/04. 750,000 volunteers throughout the country on 2/22/04 immunized 168 million children in India. Mr. Thomas is the head of the Annual Giving Chair. Goal for this year by the end of June is to raise $225,000. He is recommending every Rotarian give $100 every year.
Motion made by Steve to have every York Rotary club member donate $100 to the Annual Giving Chair.
Meeting adjourned.
