Polar dip – 12 p.m. at the Bathhouse in Long Sands!
Speaker this week, Marianne Meynard and Patty Wolff- Service Learning Program—the grant is for $10,000 per year renewable for 3 years; Patty Wolff is the Service Learning coordinator. This is her first year in the York school district. On 3/15/04 they will be holding the first meeting of the prospective members for Leaders. This will be held at Sentry Hill and run all day. Service Learning is a method of teaching/learning that challenges students to identify, research, propose and implement solutions to real needs in their school and/or community as part of the curriculum. “Kids as Planners” is the theme being brought to the York school system this year.
