Happy dollars: Andy Binger went hunting and got a deer, Steve Pelletier is excited about Thanksgiving and family time together, Ray Bald’s happy that his father-in-law was not at work during a robbery, Scott Stevens had a great trip to Holland and missed a make-up (shame dollar was included), Greg Villa’s San Antonio trip was great, Kevin Webb was happy that he “ran into” his neighbor who just happens to be a Maine state trooper, Don Sweet enjoyed the York High School Band Concert and had a great trip to Asia and Australia, Sudie Blanchard was happy about a great Library event, and Steve LaPointe announced the Jeopardy event to be held the evening of 11/21/03.

No Make-Ups:   R. Bald, S. Jendzejec, C. MacDonnell.

Lates:   J. Hager

The meeting was then “taken over” in a mini-coup by Ray and Fred.   Some Rotarians had been slacking and had not called their potential tree people.  A call to action was made and fines were levied.

Nikita—fundraiser for the sophomore class—the selling of cookie dough.

Mary Andrews—stated that there would be no meeting on Friday, 11/28/03.   The lighting of the Nubble would be on Saturday, 11/29/03.

Paul Salacian---road race prior to the lighting of the Nubble.   Turkey Trot.

Stacie Kerrigan—Whitney is having a great time in Austria; Nov. 30th 6-9pm is the packing of Thanksgiving baskets at St. Christophers.

Chris Kehl—Treasurer’s report--$4,000 in checking and $15,000 in savings.

Attendence—for October—75.9%

Tom Spencer has received orders to be deployed to Iraq after the first of the year, 2004.   The club would like to have a social get-together prior to Tom’s departure.  Also, the club would like to adopt his unit while he is away and would like to check in on his family while he is away.

Missing fireman shirts—found, and sent to Iraq to a military unit.

Annette Fazio—two requests for $, one for a trailer in Kittery with horrible windows---$800 approved, house in York that had a fire without any insurance--$500 donated to their fund as a start.   Also, the food pantry is definitely moving and will need walls.  The move will take place after the New Year.

Dick Santoro—the letter telling people about York Rotary will be out after Jan 1, 2004.

Mike Lee—our “guest” has already spent $112 for his breakfast!!

Kittery Club –struggling with loosing 3 prominent members after 7/04.   If you know anyone living in Kittery who would be a good member, please let the club know.

Currently working on Guest Speaker stickers for the books donated to the libraries of the Middle and Elementary schools.

Stacie Kerrigan and Ed Kimball—greeters at the next meeting which is 12/5/03.
